My niece almost had to be admitted to hospital today. We were afraid that she might have a dengue fever, which has been a plague in my country for several days. Fortunately, she only had a virus so I shouldn't worry much at all.

I want to congratulate my choir mate for their succes in World Choir Games 2006 in Xiamen, China. They compete in four categories. First one is Mixed Youth Choir, where they got gold medal with score 81.25 in number 4. Second category is Folklore Accapella. In this one they got silver medal in 10th place with score 70.75. That was from the first week that they spend there. The second week they compete again in two category, so the third one is Mixed Chamber Choir, in where they get silver again with score 76.38 again in fourth place. The last category is Mixed Choir and they get the second gold medal in second place (one place to go mate) with score 81.25. Great job mate, 2 gold and 2 silver. Nice to hear about that.

Yesterday I went to Jakarta with my mom, aunt, and cousins to have fun in Dunia Fantasy. It was really packed with lots of people. The park open at 11 am. I got there 30 minutes after, yet the line is so full. So after closed at 8 pm, I only got a chance to play 6 attractions.

Well this amazing season of Oscar would be something that will stand out in the crowd. After seeing several of such beautiful works of movie maker, I decided to pick some of the winners, just a day before the oscar.

Best Picture:

I can't think other film will win this other than Brokeback Mountain, but if I may say that Capote is also has some chance.

Best Actor:

No doubt in my mind that Philip Seymour Hoffman should win this.

Best Actress:

Although people say that Reese Whiterspoon will win this, I still rooting for Felicity Huffman. Well it's between those two.

Best Supporting Actor:

I think Jake Gyllenhall did something good, although George Clooney are still the favorite of everybody else.

Best Supporting Actress:

I don't know why Rachel Weisz has lots of buzz, but I think I better choose Catherine Keener or Michelle Williams.

Best Director:

Ang Lee is my choice. No question asked.

Best Original Screenplay:

I think Crash or Goodnight and Goodluck will take this one.

Well, what to say. It is a big shocked to everyone. I really hope they could find the perpetrator. I couldn't imagine if the Munich 1972 happened again in the future. Let's hope not.

Anyway I just realize that London 2012 still 7 years to go. We still have three Olympic (2 Winter and 1 Summer) before London. If you've been wondering what the host city next, it should be next year in 2006 in Torino (Turin), Italy. It's Winter Olympic.

Next one is Beijing, China in 2008 who also beat Paris in the bid. As we know it's a Summer Olympic

The last one is Winter Olympic in Vancouver, Canada in 2010.

What is an envy? Is it dangerous? Is it contagious? Sometimes I felt it also, well many times if u must say honestly. It dwelled in your heart. You want to get rid of it, but you can't. It's just a small feeling which u let to grow time after time. When it's getting bigger you can't do anything about it.

Do you think it's bad or not? Like envy of your successful friend, but it could motivate yourself to be a better one. Or you envy someone who had partner in their life which you couldn't do, and do nothing about it?

Well, bottomline for me is you have to look into each case of your envy. If you can take the positive of them, take it, but if you can, get rid of it right away before it consumes you.

Graduation, Two Weddings, and A Midnite

Saturday is always the busiest day in Bandung. Not just because the new highway from Jakarta was opened, but there's lot things to be done.

First event was my cousins graduation. He was ahead of me. Congratulation bro. You are the sweetest and nicest cousin one ever had.

Second event were two weddings. First one was a great one. I mean the food. Zuppa soup was delicious. There was an unique ceremony while the bride and the groom were singing in front of the people right when the ceremony began. The groom in the stage and the bride at the door. They sang while walking to the middle. It's a new concept to me, at least. Second wedding was my 2nd degree cousin. She had a nice wedding, too bad the place was too small.

Last event was a midnite of Batman Begins. Damn it was good. You even won't realize that almost half the film there still not in the Gotham yet. It's really great voice of Batman. Christian Bale is rock dude!!!! I can't believe he could produce that kind of voice. Deep and really meaningful. Well, too bad I have heard some spoilers before. Anyway the actors were brilliant. Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine. How could Christopher Nolan collect them all? Just can't wait to see the sequel movie. Another film are ready to premier.

Last Saturday, I was hit by a public transportation. I got out from that car and wanted to cross the street. I thought the car still stopped while waiting for passengers to come in. Then it hit me and I fell down in a mud. It's not big deal, just a little scratch. But I was shocked. Until then I haven't thought about it, but my mother said that God warned me. Yesterday I was playing badminton with my high school friends. We played men double. After a while, I chased the shuttlecock right through the other court but my body couldn't control my balance and I fall down quite hard. It was really loud. Another impact of the tsunami

Apparently tsunami has brought lots of painful to lots of people. One of the people that has been effected by this is one of my favorite TV person. He often shows in The Oprah Show. He decorates people houses. His name is Nate Berkus. I like the show and it's one of Oprah theme that I like. I don't know how and where he's been at the tsunami disaster (I suspect in Phuket), but Thanks God, he's survived. Unfortunately his friend was still missing at the moment. I just hope that he will be founded soon.

My friend said that he was in Sri Lanka. I never known that Sri Lanka is quite well known for tourist location.

What is wrong with people who want to help?

Today I heard news that Indonesian parliament had a bad thought about a foreign soldier that were helping in tsunami place in Aceh. Why would they said something like that? I don't have idea if the aid was filled with political motivation. From what I have heard from others, they were helping much in the remote area and they are more decent in handling the corpse than our own volunteer. So why should they being judged with hidden agenda? I don't know what happened to them.
